Project for Kujiale.com（Exacloud Inc.）
Based on the insights and uncovered needs identified from research, our team created this app, a mobile app that provides design ideas and design program of home. In this way, our mobile app delivers design inspiration to house owners and help designers create value.
There are two designers in our team, I'm in charge of a part of the user interface design. This is the first product I designed in the company, we designed the original version and iterate several versions.

PERSONA
Know who we're designing for and know what we don't know yet
By analyzing the given personas , we first identified the users’ goals and synthesized what we already know, like activities, context, trends, and desired outcomes. This step aided us in planning research.
ANALYSIS & RESEARCH
What do people care about when they upgrade or remodel the house?
Based on the questionnaires collection and analysis, we found some behaviors and preferences of the owners during upgrade or remodel house. For designers, we knew their anticipation of our platform.

Based on the key features we defined, we then came up with two diagrams: information flow map and navigation map. From these two diagrams, we could figure out feasible logical relationship in this mobile app and display accessible user interfaces to users.

DESIGN DECISIONS
Help users record house upgrade/remodel status
There are different ways to help users record the status: 1. Upgrade budget and expense entry; 2. Write diary of upgrade ; 3. Confirm upgrade schedule.
Providing guidance to users
This is a detail that I paid attention to during user research. They need some professional guidance of design. How many steps upgrade should do? What should pay attention to at each step? I used the strategies by ordering and categorizing to make the guide experience more fluent.
Creating an awesome browsing experience through visual design
Photos browsing used the form of waterfall flow to show more beautiful house ideas. 3D Panorama and the Overall design of the whole house used the large-scale to display the better view of the real design details. I also used different font weights, colors and sizes to create a clear information hierarchy.
